We won't count how long you have to walk, but it's a long time. Now, let's imagine a straight, flat road along the equator, you're in a car. If you drive the car at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour, then in a week you will make a circle around the Earth. Now, we're going to send light around that circle. Now, the light will travel that path seven and a half times in one second. In seven and a half days, you'll make that path in a car, and light will make 7.5 laps in a second.
