Представим процедуру подготовки к экзамену, проведения и оценки результатов проведения экзамена.

1 этап. Информация по подготовке к экзамену: формат экзамена соответствует международным требованиям по проведению экзамена по ИЯ (уровень C1/C2 advanced); анализ примеров и практика выполнения заданий для подготовки к экзамену (сайты Британского Совета и др.); тренировка (возможность проверить свои знания в режиме он лайн); на консультации – подробная информация о проведении экзамена.

2 этап. Проведение экзамена в формате: аудирование; письмо; чтение; говорение – монолог (запись на компьютер с помощью программы UV_SoundRecorder_w7_setup); тест в режиме он лайн – лексика, грамматика (http://www.englishtag.com/tests/level_ test_upper_ advanced_ C2.asp); говорение – диалог.

Продолжительность экзамена-3—3,5 часа, дополнительно – проверка работ, прослушивание записи говорения и оценивание по критериям.

3 этап. Рефлексия. После экзамена проводится рефлексия со студентами. Из положительных моментов отмечены следующие: useful experience, positive atmosphere, different kinds of tasks, the style of examples, I was lucky to be the second speaker with great student, it differs from the other exams, it’s innovative, it was well organized, a chance to practice such international exam, breathtaking writing and reading tasks, positive and different tasks stimulate our mental activity, we knew the procedure and test examples, as a result you have time to prepare and you know what to prepare, we were emotionally prepared, the ability to try real life situation, the creative tasks with demonstration fluent speech, spontaneous dialogues, using computer technologies, you don’t have time for being nervous while you are waiting for your turn to answer because you work simultaneously with your group mates, great variety of exercises was amazing, spontaneous dialogues help to imagine the real situation of communication, good experience for my future test on advanced level, good recommendations how to use new learning methods, great motivation from the beginning of the exam, an opportunity to get prepared to exam, good organization of the exam (all tasks were discussed, visualized at the blackboard), it was exciting to record my thoughts about particular topic and quite nervous to have a dialogue with my group fellow in front our tutor; высокий уровень организации экзамена позволяет более объективно оценить уровень знаний; запись монолога на компьютер позволяет свободно высказать свои мысли, нет чувства скованности как перед преподавателем.

Из недостатков проведения экзамена студенты отмечают: technical problems with Internet connections, voice recording problems (noise), hard to concentrate in the morning, no coffee break; tasks should be connected to the English course; Speaking and Writing should be in different time; exam tasks are more difficult than the tasks we’ve done at the lessons; not all the students have the computers; strange to have speaking with computer, because when you speak it’s better to speak to someone; we must wait till the morning test results; to do the tasks alone, to concentrate; Oh, these modern technologies.

Так как это выпускники магистерской программы и такая форма проведения итоговой аттестации была впервые, ценны рекомендации наших будущих коллег для студентов, которые будут сдавать экзамен в таком формате: you should work hard before the exam during the year, be attentive, concentrate on your work during the exam, to be in positive mood, not to be afraid making mistakes, don’t hurry up; Practice! Don’t be very shy and nervous while speaking; internet connection check; to use your imagination, express your opinion with confidence and listen to everything attentively; to make such kind of exams more often as students can feel themselves like the foreign students; тренироваться записывать свой голос; начинать с 1 курса.
