TEXT

Our teacher comes into the classroom at nine o’clock. One of our students writes the correct date on the blackboard and the lesson begins. Our teacher writes sentences on the blackboard and we put questions of different types to them. Sometimes she invites (calls) somebody to the blackboard and he writes different words on it. We often do exercises in writing or orally and if we write them, we try to keep our handwriting straight. Sometimes we do exercises right in our textbooks. We simply tick the correct answers. We do it with pencils. Our teacher is angry with those who do it in ink. (Our teacher is not happy when students do it in ink.)* We often read texts and our teacher asks us questions and gives us marks for our answers.

Примечание: Английское выражение be angry имеет более сильную эмоциональную окраску, чем русское сердиться. Для выражения недовольства лучше использовать выражение be not happy. Автор сохранил выражение be angry, так как оно часто используется и учащимся будет полезно его знать.
